Outsourced Controller

Outsourced ControllerAbout Outsourced Controller

outsourcedcontrollernow.com exists for the owner who senses that something is slipping. People looking for an outsourced controller are rarely worried about the books themselves. They're worried about a form nobody collected, a payment nobody approved or a filing nobody confirmed. This site puts the watching into words, so you can see what it involves before you decide.

The people behind it

Steven Palmieri, the Entrepreneur's CFO, leads the practice and is the Tax CFO owners meet on the free call. With Steven and his team behind each owner, the calendar gets watched, the books get closed and the return gets prepared from them. Steven can meet you in person, and we can join a banker or lender call when that is the useful place to be. The companies we serve are spread across the country, so the other conversations are on a video call.

We say "we" because it's a team. Whoever you talk to has the same lists you do. Nothing about your dates lives in one person's head.

What we wanted to say here

Most trouble in a small company's money is dull. A date that wasn't written down. A payment that left with no second look. We wanted one place that says so calmly, shows what an owner can do about it and doesn't use fear to sell anything.

So the pages are plain. You'll find the federal year laid out in order, the approval path for bills, the routine for vendor forms and the checks that follow payroll. Each one ends with the date or check it adds to your calendar. That small habit, a note on the calendar at the bottom of every page, is the thing we'd most like you to take away. Once a date is on the calendar, somebody has to answer for it, and that habit does more for a small company than another unread policy would.

Pick a time

What it will not do

It won't promise that you'll never miss a date. Nobody can promise that. It won't act as an examiner of your statements or your controls. One page spells out where that line sits so you can read it before anything else.

It also won't run your payroll or speak for you before the IRS. Those jobs belong to a payroll provider and to an authorized representative.

How we work

We tell you what we find, including the dull findings. The fee is written down and agreed before any work begins. We keep the final say with you and the bank authority with you. When something is outside what we do, we say so, and we point to who does it.

Most questions owners bring us are on the questions page. If yours isn't there, the free call is the place.
