Outsourced ControllerHow these pages stay current
Who writes the pages, where each date on them comes from, and how a mistake is reported.
How the pages are made
Pages on this site are researched from the practice's own work and Texas sources, drafted with software assistance, and reviewed under the practice's editorial standards. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it.
Each page on Outsourced Controller covers one thing that has to be watched in a small company, such as a filing date, an approval or a vendor form. A writer who knows the work explains it in plain words. Due dates and thresholds come from the IRS and other public offices, each with its year, and a date leaves the page when the office no longer prints it.
Any dollar amounts or companies in the examples are invented, and the page says so where they appear. Nothing here retells a client's year, and no page names a state agency or a city.
Who publishes the site
The Steven Palmieri practice publishes this site. Steven Palmieri works as a Tax CFO, the Entrepreneur's CFO, and Steven and his team keep the calendars, check the approvals and prepare the returns described here. The practice's own site is stevenpalmieri.com, and this site never passes you to another site as though it were one of its own pages.
The records we keep, and the signed reports that belong with a licensed firm, are explained once on the records page. Other pages point there rather than repeat it.
Fees and the free call
This site prints no fee. A fee is agreed in writing, together with the scope it covers, before any paid work begins. The free Second Look call is a conversation about what nobody is watching yet, and it creates no engagement.
Pictures and corrections
The photographs come from Pixabay under its content license, and papers in them are softened so nothing on them can be read. The drawings and short clips were made for this site, and the credits page names each photograph's maker.
If a date or a sentence here is wrong, tell us through any form or the Ask Steven chat and name the page. The wording is corrected once the source is checked again.
